You may request for the email address on the account to be updated. The following conditions must be satisfied in order for the email address to be changed:
- A Notice of Transfer of Claim has been filed on the docket of these Chapter 11 cases,
- A docket stamped/redacted notice of transfer and unredacted notice of transfer has been submitted to FTX CS,
- The transfer is final, the claims register has been updated to reflect the new owner and 21 days have passed since the notification from Kroll.
The request must be made by the original account owner, using the email address that is currently registered on the account. Please send the Customer Service team a copy of the court stamped Notice of Transfer of Claim.
Does changing the email address on the account also update ownership of the account and claim?
Changing the email address does not update the ownership of the account or claim. If you sold your claim, you will need to complete the Notice of Transfer of Claim process described above.
