Here are some tips to resolve common 2FA issues:
- Ensure that the code is entered correctly.
- The code is valid for a limited time. If you take too long, the code might have expired and you will need to try again.
- If you are using email 2FA, check if you have any old emails from us with a code, and delete them to make sure you are redirected to the newer one. Check your spam/junk folder in case it missed your inbox.
If you are using an authenticator app, make sure that you have at least half of the timer left when you input the code to ensure it is not expired by the time you submit. It is best to copy and paste the code instead of typing it manually.
If you are using SMS 2FA, try to reboot your device. Restarting your device usually resolves most temporary technical hiccups, such network connection errors. Also, make sure that the number that you are currently using is the same number used when you set up 2FA. Please wait for 1-2 minutes for the message to arrive.
If you are using a Yubikey, make sure that your device is inserted properly into your computer, and that you have the latest version of its firmware installed. - Make sure you have a good internet connection.
